Using pure grains as raw materials, baijiu brewed by traditional techniques is more suitable for long-term storage. Maotai-flavored baijiu is more suitable for long-term storage than many other flavored baijius. Generally, the storage time of baijiu is not less than 3 years, and the baijiu that has been stored for more than 10 years is the real good wine. If you want to understand how to store it without spoiling the wine, you must first understand the key points of baijiu collection.

First of all, we must choose high-quality sauce-flavored wine. Only high-quality sauce-flavored wine brewed from pure grains has collection value, and will become better and better with the increase of time.

The more fragrant the sauce-flavored wine is, the more fragrant it is because the esters in the sauce-flavored wine have a chemical reaction with organic acids to produce a variety of esters. The esters are precisely the source of the rich aroma of Maotai-flavored wine. However, it takes a long time for the chemical reaction of the esters in the wine to occur. Therefore, baijiu generally needs to be stored for three to five years before leaving the factory, and some baijiu may be stored for a longer time.

Stored in the professional storage environment of the winery for 5 years before leaving the factory. It has the characteristics of light yellow and transparent, elegant sauce, mellow and pleasant, full-bodied, long aftertaste, and the empty cup is comfortable.

The longer the maturity of Maotai-flavored liquor is, the more mature it will be, and the more elegant the flavor of the sauce will be. But the old base wines more than 15 years old are used as important seasonings, because the taste of drinking directly is not good.

So if we want to store baijiu for 5-10 years, what should we pay attention to?

1. Store in a dry, clean, protected from strong light and well-ventilated environment.

2. The relative humidity of the storage place should be around 70%. If the humidity is high, it is easy to cause mold rot on the bottle cap.

3. Keep away from high-temperature places, and the ambient temperature for liquor storage should not exceed 30°C.

4. The sealing of the container where the sauce-flavored wine is placed must be tight to prevent wine leakage and "run off".

A good bottle of sauce-flavored wine is not easy to obtain, so it must be stored properly, and it must not be wasted due to improper storage.
